2012 Oscar Nomination Predictions
53With the Oscar nominations about a week away I thought I would make my predictions as to which actors, actresses, and movies will garner nominations. I am NOT listing my personal preferences for the nominations, but rather a simple prediction as to who I believe will be nominated. These predictions are not based on my knowledge of the films based on personal viewing since there are a number of contenders that I have not seen as of yet. These predictions are based primarily on how the contenders have fared during the awards season so far (Golden Globes, SAGs, etc.), as well as critical praise and word of mouth. I am only making predictions for Picture, Director, and the four acting categories. Let me know what you think!

Well you did pretty well on the Best Picture category...8 out of 9....4 out of 5 on directors....4 out of 5 on supporting actors....4 out of 5 on actors and actresses...and 4 out of 5 on supporting actors....for a total of 83% ...pretty good job...I scored 85%....I think we were both shocked that Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close scored a Best Picture nomination. I look forward to your Oscar picks.

Look like good choices...and we will find out come next Tuesday morning....I did a hub last year on Oscar predictions and I hit on 86% of them...I will be doing another Oscar prediction hub this year...and I am sure our predictions will be pretty close....job well done.
